Apartamentos El Guarapo

Thanks you El Guarapo for a lovely stay. We had an apartment 46 which was lovely! Bright, big and very clean with lovely views from all round the apartment. What a lovely place to stay. Everything was clean and you had everything needed on the apartment. It is in a quiet location but just a five minute walk from the main square area. There is a lovely pool bar which is open for breakfast and then again in the afternoon for a while. We had a lovely cheese plate on our last day. Great area with lockers toilets and showers if you need them if you have a late flight. There were a few putting towels on loungers very early and then not going out for a while…but I guess you get that everywhere. Will definitely be returning

Small gated complex with a pool and restaurant for breakfast and drinks. The apartments are clean with good cooking facilities although we only bought breakfast items and walked the short distance to all the local bars and restaurants, there are plenty of choices. The fabulous beaches are only a stroll away too. If you just want to chill but be only a short walk from all the action, these apartments are excellent value. Plus they’ve just had new umbrellas installed around the pool area

This is the second time I have stayed at El Guarapo, and once again thoroughly enjoyed it. Everything is kept immaculate - the reception area, garden, facilities and apartments all beautiful and clean considering the amount use and footfall the place gets. Yes there is no air con, but the fans are sufficient - it’s the Canary Islands after all not Cyprus, so the temperature is never uncomfortably hot. The staff are always attentive and professional and are a credit to the place. Apartments cleaned every other day. There’s a pool curfew of of 8pm and a general quiet rule after 11pm. Great for families. Lovely chilled poolside bar for breakfast and afternoon drinks and snacks. No loud music blasting out, only chilled vibes. Location wise El Guarapo is perfect for local beaches (el Jablillo and Playa Bastian) as well as shops and attractions. All walkable. There’s always going to be people who find fault and look for the little negatives but honestly I find this place an absolute gem. Thank you once again El Guarapo team.

A very relaxing , peaceful area.clean , comfortable apartments .we had a lovely weeks holiday .the staff are very friendly .the receptionist ( from london) is so frienff so my and welcoming and will do anything for you . The breakfasts are cooked to order -they are huge portions - and very good quality -they set you up for the day!

Just back from a week in El Guarapo . Fabulous cosy and safe complex. Really clean. Apartment had everything we needed. Staff are so friendly . Nice bar on site with excellent food. Close to beach and restaurants. We will definitely come back

The property is not at all as advertised. We were extremely disappointed with our experience. There was a smell of sewage in our apartment on arrival, we asked for it to be cleaned and this took two days and wasn't resolved by surface cleaning. There wasn't any duvet cover and this also took tow days for delivery to the room. It was full of holes and worn out, as were the towels which were frayed and washed out. The WIFI was only accessible on the balcony of the apartment, when we brought this to the attention of the receptionist, it appeared she was aware of this problem, it took two days to receive the WIFI extender. The pictures of the property are misleading and may have been taken years before. It is an old and tired complex. The pool bar as advertised is like a cold and lonely bus terminus, it opens sporadically. We decided to check out on day three as the smell of sewage was still there and we feared for our health in inhaling this for any longer. We explained the situation to the receptionist and asked if there was any possibility of partial refund, she assured us she would discuss with management. not surprisingly we have heard nothing from the property since we checked out. It was a relief to depart this property and needless to say we will never darken their door again. Lanzarotte is a fantastic location and places like this should not be allowed to ruin anyones well deserved vacation.

We have just returned from a very good holiday at El Guarapo Apartments. This complex is beautifully designed and well maintained. The apartments are clean and comfortable and the kitchen area is well equipped . The pool area is beautiful for relaxing and swimming and again is kept very clean . The Hotel team are always accessible and give information on local attractions and recommend good restaurants. The hotel is situated in a peaceful area , it is short walk to the suqare where there are bars and restaurants . There is also a promenade walk along by the sea to nearby beaches and more shops and restaurants. We will definitely return to El Guarapo appartments soon.

Our stay was OK bottom apartment was clean but bit dated photos was was shown when picking our holiday must of been taken 20years ago as there was a tree in front of us which stopped the sun from coming through people was putting towels on sun beds at 7.45 am but some never returned all day which it say in reception 15min max but nothing got done about it but the cleaners had not even cleaned round the pool when the was putting towels on and they was the older people not young.No air con which we know about but the fan what was in must of been from hovercraft it was that loud .The walls of the apartment was that thin you could hear everything above soaring flush toilet,footsteps on the floor,above doors banging. Beds very uncomfortable which was two together one slightly higher then other wouldn't return.The area was nice 5min to beach 5min to supermarket Restaurants very close.

Lovely apartments, very clean and peaceful. Great location just a short walk to restaurants and bars. Beach also a short walk, everything is near by. Beds are really comfy the receptionist was always very helpful, just a shame the bar shut 4.30 but didn't spoil the holiday. Would definitely come back here.
